Enjoy the delightful flavours of a Strawberry Shortcake Frappuccino. This refreshing beverage blends sweet strawberries with creamy vanilla and a hint of biscuit-like flavour. Topped with whipped cream and crushed shortbread cookies, it's the perfect treat for any warm day.
Ingredients:
Frappucino:
- 1 cup of milk of choice
- 1/3 cup of Balzac's Anniversary Blend or any Balzac's blend, brewed and cooled
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup
- 1.5 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1.5 cups of ice
Shortbread In A Mug:
- 4 thinly sliced strawberries
- 6 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 5 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- To make the shortbread, add strawberries, sugar, butter, flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt into a mug. Stir until well combined and cook in microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds or until cooked through and set aside.
- To make the Frappuccino, add milk, coffee, syrup strawberries and ice into a blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk if Frappuccino is too thick to blend.
- Garnish Frappuccino with whipped cream, shortbread crumbles and strawberries.
