Gingerbread Latte

Skip the messy construction site! This Gingerbread Latte combines the delicious flavours of a gingerbread house and whips them up in a delicious blend with Balzac’s organic, Fairtrade Espresso. No sticky icing or tooth-cracking candy to speak of. Now that’s a house special!


  • 1 Shot Balzac’s Espresso
  • 1 tbsp gingerbread syrup
  • 1 cup steamed or warm milk
  • Whipped cream & cinnamon to top

Gingerbread Syrup

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp allspice


  1. Add all ingredients to a pot over the stove and bring to a boil.
  2. Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer.
  3. Simmer until syrup thickens.
  4. Cool and store in an air-tight jar.
