Skip the messy construction site! This Gingerbread Latte combines the delicious flavours of a gingerbread house and whips them up in a delicious blend with Balzac’s organic, Fairtrade Espresso. No sticky icing or tooth-cracking candy to speak of. Now that’s a house special!
Ingredients
- 1 Shot Balzac’s Espresso
- 1 tbsp gingerbread syrup
- 1 cup steamed or warm milk
- Whipped cream & cinnamon to top
Gingerbread Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp allspice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a pot over the stove and bring to a boil.
- Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Simmer until syrup thickens.
- Cool and store in an air-tight jar.
