Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sales Execution Manager is accountable for flawless execution of all CPG sales & sales strategy initiatives to achieve sales/trade/profit targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Execution, tracking and project management of all tactics on our go-to-market plans and strategies that includes but not limited to the following.
- Product, Innovation, Format changes or new
- Pricing plans
- Promotional activities (ie. Cross-Promotions, Loyalty programs, Seasonal)
- Distribution programs
- Merchandising vehicles and programs
- Shopper/customer marketing programs
- Key customer/account specific projects
- Updates and executes all sales selling materials with sales, broker and customer
- Creates, prepares and executes retailer ready launch kits
- Supports the annual cross-functional Joint Business Planning process
- Execution on all sales planning meetings, broker/customer meetings, trade shows, customer events
- Project management with cross-functional departments on key projects/launch initiatives
- Attends customer/broker meetings to assist in execution
- Executes and manages S&OP process
- Additional duties and special projects as determined by the VP Sales
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry.
- Experience in a current or previous Sales Strategy / Customer Marketing Role
- Required Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Effective communication and presentations skills, both written and oral.
- Critical thinker, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Business and sales financial acumen skills.
- Ability to project management
- Collaboration, able to work in a cross-functional team selling environment.
- Knowledge of Nielsen/Consumer/Category data
- Ability to prioritize workload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
Working Conditions
- The Sales Execution Manager position is a Remote Position
- Often required to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously to meet the demands of the business.
- Evenings, weekends, and some overtime hours to accommodate business demands and position requirements may be required.
- Occasional Travel to Head Office, and Café & Distribution locations.
- Occasional Travel for business related events, trade shows
